About the Lake Erie Hurricanes
The Lake Erie Hurricanes are a franchise that participates in the Northern Ohio Water Baseball Legaue. The team, owned by Alex Scheufler, participates in its inaugural season in 2009. The team has said that it is going to be devoted to being the most fan-friendly team in the league. The league, however, does not give very much competition. The only other teams in the league are the Sharon Stingers and the Medina Sharks.
Lake Erie Hurricanes owner Alex Scheufler has given us some examples on what the team will do to become the most fan-friendly team in the league. He has said that there will be no ticket prices this season, as the team is a non-profit organization. He has said that there will be a some sort of promotions throughout the season. Word has popped up of the "Livestrong" braclets with the words "Lake Erie Hurricanes" on them for a game in the future. Other promotions could include postgame cookouts, postgame autographs with both home and visiting teams, and more.
We are going to try our hardest. Our fans may not think that we are the most fan-friendly team in the league. I don't care if they think that becuase they are allowed to. All I know and care about is that we try and we devote ourselves to being the most fan-friendly team in the league.
The above quote was by owner Alex Scheufler.

Our Fans
There are many reasons why should dive into Hurricanes baseball right away. For one, the Hurricanes are not your average team. The Hurricanes know what the economy is like right now, the also know all about saving money as well. This season, the Hurricanes will not charge an admission price. Hopefully this quality can improve our outreach to the fans. Second, this is not the normal way of playing baseball. The Hurricanes play baseball in water. This can cause some of the players to slip and fall into the pool, or perform some other sort of comedy act. Not only is this a way to watch baseball, it provides a world class comedy act as well. Third and finally, the team is devoted to the fans. The Hurricanes will do everything possible to ensure that the fans have an outstanding time at the ball game. If the fans need something, the 'Canes will provide it. This is a team that Cleveland can fall in love with and there are many reasons why.
